The salvation of souls at the weekly Sunday Evening Gospel Meetings, where we do have visitors, some on a regular basis
The strengthening of Gods people in the word and ways of the Lord.
The childrens work, that God would give fruit that will remain.
The minister, that he would know Gods help and direction as he prepares for the meetings.
That Gods name would be glorified, that new families would be added to the congregation and that Gods cause would be advanced in County Donegal.
Monday 7 May
The Church in Convoy is situated on the outskirts of the village in the townland of Ballyboe in the eastern part of County Donegal. The members of the Church are very supportive and are to be commended for their faithfulness in all aspects of the work.
The congregation meets each Lords Day at 11.30 am and 7.00 pm with around 25 to 30 people in attendance at each service. The small Sunday School, of about 10 children, meets weekly at 10.45 am. The boys and girls also have a weekly childrens meeting during the autumn and winter seasons, with up to 22 attending. The last term finished with a parents meeting, held on 29th March, when 28 children from both Protestant and Roman Catholic backgrounds were present. Their attention and behaviour was excellent on the night as they enjoyed the Gospel message from Gods Word, brought by Rodney Mitchell. The weekly prayer meetings, held on Thursday evenings, are supported by up to 15 people.
